Working at night has taken its toll on me. The past few months I’ve been repeatedly sick with pharyngitis and tonsillitis, and that’s really bad. I’ve been feeling tired even if I have enough sleep every day. The culprit of my health issue is my work schedule. I’ve been getting up late night to go to work for years. I thought it was all okay, but it’s not.
It’s not sufficient to say we’ll do what we do in the day at night and just pretend it’s all the same because it is obvious that there are hazards in this type of work schedule. And I’ve known in the news that a long-term night-working is extremely bad for our health.
I tell you I’m not the type of person who takes multivitamins every day. Sometimes I do, but it’s not the regular kind. I’m not enough sure the last time I took one. Then good news came —an invite from Renovo Integrative MD.
Renovo Integrative MD invited a number of bloggers to experience their High Dose Intravenous Vitamin C (IVC).
I was really excited to attend this session because I needed it. We were given 15 grams of IV Vitamin C and it was good for a month. In this session, I learned that our bodies don’t actually absorb 100% of Vitamin C if we take it orally.
Here are some photos from the session we had.
Benefits of IV Vitamin C
- Lessen pain after injuries
- Helps the body heal faster
- Improves energy levels/fatigue
- Resiliency to infections like cold/flu or other viral/bacterial infections
I was advised to drink a bottle of water to hydrate before we proceed in dripping because the session will cause me dehydration. I might feel a bit sleepy as a side effect, but to be honest I did not feel it all. Maybe the side effects depend on each person.
If you want to try this to improve your health which you should, you may book an appointment or visit Renovo Integrative MD clinic at Unit 807 Xavierville Square Condominium, #38 Xavierville Avenue, 1108 Quezon City, or call 0995 336-3698.
