So… I Made the Switch from WordPress to Squarespace x Giveaway

Blogging has been part of my life since high school. I remember going to a computer shop every day that was located kilometers away from our house in Laguna, in order to update my blog. My first blog was on WordPress. I have tried other platforms like Blogger, Tumblr and Multiply but didn’t really went well for me. I was more of a WordPress guy.

But now, I made the switch from WordPress to Squarespace.

Why did I make the switch? Here are my reasons. “Squarespace, welcome to your tape (Hannah Baker?)”. Lol

  1. 14-day Trial for Paid Services (No Credit Card Required). You get to try the platform with all it’s paid services without paying a cent for 14 days. At this period, you will be able to determine if Squarespace is for you. Just sign up and get started.
  2. Easy Blogging Platform. What I love about Squarespace in regards to writing a blog post is you get to see a live preview of what your post will look like while writing. You no longer need to click that update button and refresh your other browser’s tab/window. It’s hassle free, meaning it’s less time spending on writing your posts.
  3. It’s all-in-one. Squarespace has their own domain registrar and hosting. I know some has these as well, but with Squarespace, you no longer need to configure settings. They’ll do it for you. Everything is simple and very straightforward.
  4. Premium Templates and easy to customize. I have this tendency to change themes while I was still on WordPress. I just needed it because I get bored. And switching themes on WordPress and customizing it took me weeks, tbh. Squarespace provides its customer a variety of premium templates that fits all types of websites. And you get to customize it by just clicking on the part or section you wanted to customize and it’ll allow you to change it. And if you wanted to go deep in customizing, you can turn on Developer Mode.

There’s just something enjoyable with Squarespace that I made the switch. I think I’ll be sticking with Squarespace for a while now.
